Danvers, Massachusetts is a town in southern Essex County and one of the earliest settlements in the area. As early as 1630, colonists had moved in to the area about the time when Salem began allocating land grants and a village was established in what is currently modern Danvers in 1636. Governor John Endicott was one of the first settlers there and he established Orchard Farms, a very large land holding for its time, with 300 to 400 acres.
Danvers has easy access to major roadways and highways north and south has transformed it from a small colonial farming community to a vigorous suburban municipality which is proud of its retail establishments, municipal services and excellent school system.

Let me introduce to you Sisters in Song, group of beautiful and very gifted musicians I am proud to now call my Sisters. With my longtime friend Jeff Pietrantoni, we formed this new group in 2011 and were very proud to produce our FIRST musical production in September/October 2011 called A BEAUTIFUL PAIR. All proceeds from this wonderful musical revue were donated to Ellie Fund, a local organization supporting Massachusetts breast cancer patients and their families (www.elliefund.org). Read more about our concert by clicking on the following link. (http://www.wickedlocal.com/melrose/news/lifestyle/x155801925/Local-group-helps-breast-cancer-patients-survive-the-cure#axzz1agUCQWOh) Jeff has been a long time devotee of musical theatre and I, a true fan of all types of music. Jeff had been brainstorming for a few years about getting a group together in order to give back to our communities through music which, in his words, “heals the soul”. I was thrilled when he asked me to chair this concept alongside him and even prouder that the group wanted to continue its efforts in 2012 and beyond. Unfortunately, my Breast Cancer diagnosis in 2012 prevented me from doing a show and so the 2012 concert was “postponed”. Who would have thought that I, after performing to raise money for the Ellie Fund in 2011, would require their support and services just a few months later? I believe that fate and faith have brought Sisters in Song and the Ellie Fund together. “A BEAUTIFUL PAIR2, LOVE HEALS” was performed October 2013. " A BEAUTIFUL PAIR3, NO DAY BUT TODAY" was performed October 2014 raising $7000 for Ellie Fund! Please help us beat that number in 2015! I hope to see many of you at one of the performances and, if you’re not local or cannot make any of the shows, please consider making a donation to this worthy cause. Checks can be made out to Sisters In Song and mailed to 1 Converse Street, Wakefield, MA 01880! To make a donation online, go to www.elliefund.org, and click DONATE TODAY. There is a “special option” section where you can choose SISTERS IN SONG.
